Marcus Rashford and the tale of two halves

Gameweek 1 is in the books, and boy, it was an eventful one.

Or a handful, if you’re Yerson Mosquera.

Anyway, for content creators, there is simply no better league in the world. Each game provides you with so many remarkable stories and narratives about which I could talk for hours and hours.

And you know how I love storytelling. Among other things, like… data, of course.

Today's focus will be Manchester United, as I didn't give them much attention during the pre-season.

Not that I didn't want to - there were just so many other things to cover.

The centrepiece of this week's issue will be a man who fell out of grace.

Season to remember

United entered the current campaign with a relatively favourable set of fixtures, and Rashford, as a £7m FPL midfielder, likely came into your thoughts.

At the same time, it probably didn't feel quite right - and it's understandable.
